I have a medium egg and I love it. I have always taken care with all of my equipment and the egg is no exception. You are wrong howevever about one comment that you made about the eggs. The one where you said there are no parts to wear out. One day as I attempted to clean the built up ash (from several cookings) as per the manuel, I lifted the lower ring and it came apart. I would not sent you this mail if I had even tapped the ring on anything. I didn't even know that it was in two pieces because it had not seperated until I lifted it out to get to the ash in the bottom. also the the small grate in the bottom fell into several pieces as well. These parts are so expensive that I am still trying to decide if I should replace them or forget about the expensive blunder I made by buying the egg in the first place. I am in no way suggesting my egg was new. I have cooked on it many many times and it was still cookin fine until I tried to clean it that last time.

The Grill Shoppe is considered to the leader (& about the only place in this area) to purchase EXACT fit grill parts for most grills. Actually the older the grill, the better when it comes to parts. I have a 35 yrs old double hood Charmglow that is on a scroll cart. We have parts for that as well as most others. These parts are NOT universal parts to fit several grills. The parts we carry are made specifically for each grill.
We carry parts for the "GOLDEN OLDIES" as well as the" NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK"
Thanks for contacting the Grill Shoppe http://www.grillshoppe.com
